The position requires performing numerical analysis for our consulting clients supporting multiple industry applications, specially, Oil & Gas and Energy. The person should have a strong background in structural and solid mechanics and a good understanding of thermal/structural/dynamic loading conditions & failure mechanisms. The person should have extensive experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and be highly proficient with FEA software package Abaqus. To be successful, the person, in addition to strong academic background (Minimum Masters or PhD), must have a keen engineering judgement, analytical and logical reasoning skills, excellent communication skill, and above all, a 'CAN DO' attitude. This is a very critical role for our organization as we strive to be the best in class in technical offerings and client satisfaction. Essential Functions
- Help execute consulting services projects related to FEA with minimal supervision.
- Very strong grasp on physics based simulation and verification & validation.
- Help in writing technical and cost proposals.
- Understand the physical problem and how it must be represented in the numerical model.
- Evaluate and interpret the physical response by using proper engineering judgement.
- Work closely with other experts in FEA.
- Elaborate the FEA model by using commercial pre-processing software like Abaqus/CAE.
- Follow the project’s schedule and issue the deliverables on the planned time without comprising the work quality.
- Be responsible for the reliability of all the generated information provided to the client.
- Report the results over an objective, detailed, articulated communication.
- Perform the Quality Check for the pre/post-processing and reports from colleagues.
- Help with automation projects related to kernel scripting and GUI development.
- Engage as a technical expert with activities related to technical content development (blogs, presentations, etc.), webinars, conferences, and seminars.
- Follow company QA and Confidentiality Procedures for technical engagements.
- Engage in technical publications, code committees, industry simulation focus groups, etc.
- Help the CTO and Directors (FEA, CFD, EMAG, etc.) with technical input to development new clients and expand into existing clients.

- M.S. in Engineering in Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil disciplines with 4-8 years of industry experience or Ph.D. (preferred) with 2-4 years of industry experience.
- Excellent understanding of fundamentals of structural and solid mechanics.
- Solid experience with commercial FEA code Abaqus and Python Scripting
- Experience with Energy, Oil & Gas industry.
